If you feel stuck in cycles of restriction, overeating, or confusion around food, nutrition counseling can help create a more sustainable and supportive path forward.

Outcomes you can expect from working with a dietitian:

  • More consistent and balanced eating patterns

  • Reduced food guilt and decreased preoccupation with food

  • Improved ability to recognize and respond to hunger and fullness cues

  • Increased confidence navigating meals, snacks, and social eating

  • Reduced binge, restrict, or compensatory eating patterns

  • Improved energy, nourishment, and overall nutrition intake

  • Greater understanding of body changes and realistic health goals

  • Tools to support long-term, sustainable habits

Sessions

I currently accept several insurance plans, including Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield (WA), Aetna, and United Healthcare.

  • An in-depth session focused on understanding your health history, relationship with food, lifestyle, and goals.

    Together we will:

    • Review your medical and nutrition history and current habits

    • Identify challenges and areas for growth

    • Create personalized goals and a realistic action plan

    • Begin building sustainable habits for long-term success

You’ll leave with individualized nutrition guidance, education, and clear next steps tailored to your body and lifestyle.

    Session length: 60 minutes

  • Ongoing support sessions focused on tracking progress, overcoming challenges, and continuing to build sustainable habits.

    During follow-ups, we will:

    • Review wins, struggles, and progress toward your goals

    • Troubleshoot barriers and adjust strategies as needed

    • Expand nutrition education and practical tools

    • Refine goals to support long-term success

These sessions provide accountability, encouragement, and personalized guidance to keep you moving forward.

    30 minutes

  • Ongoing support is one of the strongest predictors of meaningful and sustainable change. Research consistently shows that individuals who engage in multiple sessions with a Registered Dietitian experience greater improvements in nutrition-related health outcomes, eating behaviors, and long-term habit formation.

This package is ideal for clients seeking consistent guidance, accountability, and structured support as they build sustainable eating patterns and improve their relationship with food.

    Includes:

    • Three 30-minute follow-up sessions

    • Individualized adjustments to your care plan

    • Continued skill-building and accountability

  • Includes one initial consultation and two follow-up sessions at a discounted rate. Encourages consistency, builds momentum, and reduces financial barriers.

  • A supportive, guided meal session where we eat together virtually and process thoughts, emotions, and skills in real time.

Perfect for clients who live alone, or spend most meals alone and are struggling to find motivation to eat.

  • Daily access (Mon–Fri, 9 AM–8 PM PST & 8 AM - 6 PM Sat-Sun) for existing clients to ask quick questions, receive assistance with food intake decisions, get encouragement and support, and receive accountability messages.

Guaranteed 2 hour response time, supportive tone, and guidance between sessions.

Perfect for clients struggling with recovery and/or eating who would benefit from extra contact and guidance.

About me

Hi, I’m Virginia Everett, Registered Dietitian and founder of Softly Nourished.

I work with adolescents and adults who want to feel calmer, stronger, and more confident in their relationship with food. My specialties include eating disorder recovery and sustainable weight management.

My approach is compassionate, practical, and grounded in real life. Nutrition shouldn’t feel overwhelming or restrictive, it should support your energy, health, and daily routines.

My background includes clinical, community, and private practice experience, and I earned my Master of Science in Dietetics through Eastern Michigan University’s coordinated program. Through my training and work, I’ve developed a deep respect for how complex food and body image can be, and how powerful supportive guidance can be.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, hiking, Pilates, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family.

My goal is simple: to help you build steady, balanced nutrition habits that support long-term wellbeing.
